It's actually the only way.
This sounds crude but it's right. There should not be a "path forward." We're talking about 20,000 people who weren't good before this shitshow. Excise them from public life. Shun their families. They shouldn't be able to hire a plumber.

My rule of thumb: dont seek out regional foods if you're outside the 5hr radius because they will not be as good, and the dissapointment might be expensive.
I do not eat Mexican food when I am more than a 5hr drive from Mexico. Lyle Lovett was right!
