One of the amazing things about RCV is that it allows candidates to mutually campaign! And it's important when facing such a toxic enemy as Andrew Cuomo.
Possibly the first joint instagram post of two mayoral candidates this cycle - a new frontier enabled by RCV for @bradlander.bsky.social and @zellnor.bsky.social and one that happens to come after POLITICO’s report of Myrie declining an alliance with Andrew Cuomo.

I'd like to point out that if NYC didn't have ranked-choice right now, the mayor's race would be far more irritating. The amount of knife-fighting we've avoided is incalculable, and makes me think well of RCV.
