The vicious cycle of monopolization:

1) Corporations argue that their growth is just part of the free market.
2) Use their monopoly power to gouge consumers.
3) Take a portion of their profits to make political donations.
4) Lobby against antitrust enforcement.
5) Repeat.

We can do away with it without a new Supreme Court. Nor do we need a constitutional amendment. There’s a far simpler way to get rid of Citizens United. Let me explain. https://robertreich.substack.com/p/how-to-get-rid-of-citizens-united

Wow- I was so disheartened to hear that my beloved Apple joined with evil corporations Amazon, Meta, Google, Lockheed Martin, Microsoft, Comcast, T-Mobile and more (fortune.com/2025/10/26/3...) to destroy the People's House and potentially give workers and bystanders mesothelioma. Cool. 👎

I’ve been in or around politics for over a half-century now.

I’ve watched as corporations and the super-rich flooded D.C. with campaign cash and ransacked our system.

It won't be easy, but here’s how we break the corporate oligarchy and return power to the people.

🖋️ “Vote NO: The SAVE Act Is Voter Suppression” hit 5,000 signers!

Vote NO: The SAVE Act Is Voter Suppression
Text SIGN PTVCBT to 50409 — Let’s be clear: the so-called Safeguard American Voter Eligibility (SAVE) Act isn’t about securing our elections—it’s about suppressing voters. If you vote for it, you’re not defending democracy. You’re helping dismantle it. The SAVE Act is a direct assault on millions of eligible Americans. It would force voters to show documentary proof of citizenship—like a passport or birth certificate—every time they register or update their registration. These documents are costly, difficult to access, and not required in most states today. Seniors, people with disabilities, rural residents, and low-income Americans would be among the first silenced. Married women whose names no longer match their birth certificates? Blocked. Trans and nonbinary Americans whose IDs don’t align with outdated documents? Targeted. Communities of color already facing systemic barriers? Further marginalized. These aren’t unintended consequences—they are the goal. This bill would gut mail-in and online voter registration, end automatic registration efforts, and crush voter registration drives—especially in underserved communities. It would allow voter purges without notice and even threaten election workers with prison time for registering citizens who lack the exact documentation. The SAVE Act is nothing short of an orchestrated attack on the right that protects all others: the right to vote. It weaponizes bureaucracy to erase voters from the process. If passed, it will shrink the electorate, deepen inequality, and undermine the integrity of our elections. If you believe in an inclusive democracy—one that doesn’t punish people for their ZIP code, income level, name, gender, or race—then you must vote NO on the SAVE Act. Stand on the right side of history. Reject this disgraceful attempt to silence the people.
