Last week, Salt Lake City used #RankedChoiceVoting to elect its first majority-female City Council since at least 1980.

SLC already made history w/ RCV in 2021, electing its first majority-LGBTQ+ & majority-people of color Council.

Next month, voters in Albuquerque, NM will return to the polls for delayed runoffs that may cost over $1 million.

If the city used #RankedChoiceVoting like Santa Fe & Las Cruces, there'd be no need for runoffs.

Election Day 2025 was a big day for the #RankedChoiceVoting movement.

Over 430,000 voters across the country used RCV, and 67% of voters in Greenbelt, MD voted to adopt RCV.

NYC elected Zohran Mamdani after a general election dominated by "spoiler" accusations.

If NYC used #RankedChoiceVoting in general elections like in primaries, voters would have more choice & no fear of spoilers. NYC would always elect someone supported by a majority.

California voters overwhelmingly passed Prop 50, which changes the state’s congressional map to increase the number of "safe" Dem seats.

Election Day is behind us. But for many voters, election season isn't over.

In big cities & counties from CA to NJ, voters will have to go back to the polls for delayed runoffs.

#RankedChoiceVoting is a faster, cheaper, better alternative to runoffs.⬇️

No single state can end the tit-for-tat gerrymandering cycle on its own.

A national shift to #ProportionalRepresentation w/ multi-member would end gerrymandering, allowing voters to choose their leaders – rather than the other way around.
