ok so the thing is that obviously a lot of rich people were pals w/jeffrey epstein and he had influence in this way, but from reading all these emails i am beginning to think he may be prone to exaggerating his impact on things a wee bit. like i don't believe "his" nerds taught anybody anything
jeeeeeesus christ, Epstein was setting policy for the 1st Trump Admin, and "[Epstein's] nerds" are these foreign agents he's describing?

Just asking again: Is the Democratic Party going to take a loud public stance on whether we should go to war with Venezuela or no?
"Senior military officials on Wednesday presented President Trump with updated options for potential operations in Venezuela, including strikes on land, according to multiple sources familiar with the meetings at the White House. "

The potential operations for Venezuela presented to Trump included options for strikes on land, multiple sources said.

An interesting tidbit in the joint status report filed in the Broadview ICE facility case today:

ICE says video from inside the facility "between October 19, 2025, and October 31, 2025, has been irretrievably destroyed" and can't be produced in discovery.

Remember when Ruben Gallego preened around over his support for the Laken Riley Act, and pundits treated him as having the magic key to Dems' working class woes?

Well, Spanberger voted against it and erased GOP gains with working class, including among Latinos:

this is actually really something. The NY Times stuff is bonkers.
As all this disgusting Epstein shit starts surfacing more and more, I hope we don't lose sight of the fact that apparently every major media outlet knew everything and instead spent their time money and energy attacking the trans community.

Summers must be removed from his post at Harvard.
"Summers declined to comment on Wednesday beyond referring to previous remarks in which he acknowledged 'regretting my past associations with Mr. Epstein.' (...Summers is a contributing writer for The New York Times Opinion section.)"

They don't mention the IQ email

In the century leading up to 1975, nearly 6000 freighters went down in the Great Lakes.

The Edmund Fitzgerald was the last.

The last. In 50 years, not a single commercial freighter has been lost in the Great Lakes.

Why?

It's NOAA. Of course it's NOAA.
