Vital piece of investigative reporting from Sky. They've uncovered the X algorithm which feeds users extremist right wing material from the moment they join the site. It is a far-right radicalisation engine, by design.

I’m really starting to suspect that most of the tech bros haven’t actually read Tolkien, as they certainly don’t understand it.

The gentle hobbits save the “hard men” of Gondor, largely through compassion and selflessness. Not the other way around. The Christian parable is barely hidden!

Amazing! Honestly two worlds I never thought I'd see collide, one of the best interviewers out there sits down with a musician who has been a ridiculously significant part of my life for nearly 20 years. Loved getting to read this chat and dig back into an album I've not played in a while

Its research is better than most news shows and its gags are better than most comedy shows but for me what sets it above most shows is that it always tries to ask "What can we do about this?"

Been rewatching the first one recently in chunks around baby duties and it's so well-constructed.

I remember it fondly as a movie my dad was excited to share when it came out on DVD, although he couldn't help himself from rewinding the film to demonstrate minor continuity errors 😐
The Bourne Identity: so good that I had to immediately put on the sequel. Man, I still remember how hard it hit me when <redacted> died. Like I can remember the theater I was in and how it felt in the moment.

No, with respect, the buck stops with him. He's the leader. Not McSweeney, not the comms guy. He sets the strategy, tone and values. He is responsible. Either Starmer and his whole crew are ousted and are replaced by something very different or its Vichy Labour from here until doomsday.
Keir Starmer should look at what is going out in his name on X and rein it in.

There is no point retracting the accidental allusions to Enoch Powell if the Downing St comms team seem to be apeing the Willie Horton playbook
