Trump was NOT going to budge; he doesn’t CARE that Americans were suffering obscenely. Surrender was in the country’s best interests. It’s not “standing on principle” when you’re still getting fed/paid while people are starving. Regrettable, but necessary.

CNN has a panel talking about Epstein and the host just mentioned (almost as an aside!) that one of the guys is a lawyer defending Ghislaine Maxwell. And rather than being a guest who's grilled about the case, he's treated like any other panelist who just happens to be minimizing the crimes.
