My biggest issue is Hook. Which most people celebrating the result and mocking people upset about it are silent about. Why are you happy the 86th best male wrestler on the AEW roster caused a title change? Explain why this was a good thing or just admit you don't care and just want to vibe.
But it isn't that, they just wanted to see Hangman do more stuff as champ, especially after coming off a long heel run, I don't really get the confusion here, Joe's great! But the time for him to become champ should be past. That's all.
It’s that with a mix of they hate when they’re fantasy booking/headcanons art played out exactly as they want. Therefore, it’s bad. It’s ridiculous.

i see considerably more people tripping over themselves to act like the biggest cunts alive towards hangman fans critical of his booking than actual crash outs by hangman fans. posts like “hey i didn’t like that!” and then ones like “you hangman fans are the worst most useless people alive!”

Ok one more thing on my mind but I’m getting really tired of the “The fans are upset so that means it’s effective heel work” argument. The fans should be upset because the heel is doing some kind of engaging villainous actions and not because the storytelling is frustrating to deal with.

People want an idealized version of Hangman’s reign. Yearish, defending monthly, only losing to one specific person in their mind that fits the mold. And I still agree with that sentiment. But he isn’t aimless.
