As the ~discourse~ seems to bend interminably towards Republicans trying to figure out how they can (further) HDHP-ify ACA coverage, it's worth revisiting what is probably our best (most rigorous) study on the effect of deductibles in health insurance.

The reaction to the Panorama edit has been nothing short of hysterical. Yes the BBC has some impartiality problems. But its biggest isn't the one you think.

All of this nonsense at the BBC probably wouldn't be happening if the board wasn't stuffed with Tory appointees for over a decade who, despite their best efforts, couldn't hold back the tide of cultural change.
This week is all just Robbie Gibb's tantrum about that.

Have new WCA claims exploded in the last year?
Yet again, the DWP has been publishing data in a misleading way, making it hard to know what's going on...

Here's another bit of conventional wisdom Zohran completely blew away: His speech was at well above a 10th-grade level. It was complex, erudite, punctuated by deep and fluent references. You don't have to condescend to voters with baby talk! Part of re-establishing norms is speaking like an adult.

A techno-wizz way of referring to the fact that these cars have computers in them that could be doing more things when the car is idle. Except that would reduce the remaining mileage left by draining the batteries. Mind blown.

New incredible detail here: ICE says a match in its facial recognition app Mobile Fortify is a "definitive" determination of a person's status, and that this overrides birth certificates. This is an app ICE is using in the field to scan people
