Your occasional reminder that you can just say what you mean. You don't have to couch things in sideways speech to be understood. If you mean, "You're a bigot," say that. Don't perform bigotry thinking they'll see the cruelty and change their ways. They'll only see that you're just like them.

I've definitely noticed a trend of gross 'reading elitism' here on Bluesky. Way too many people think reading books (but not audiobooks!) is the only way to learn new things and they're better than you because they've never sullied themselves with other forms of entertainment. ☹️🤔

I would posit that if the international treaties against torture are what is holding your country back then your country doesn't deserve to get ahead and holding it back is a moral obligation for everyone else
