My detained client was scheduled for a bond hearing this AM in a MA immigration court. He wasn't brought in, and he and his case have disappeared.
I then received this notice of activity on a nonexistent docket in which his name was changed to "N/A"

Well this is vile. On a good note, I went with my child's class on a field trip to Montgomery, AL. We visited the civil rights museum, Rosa Parks museum, and the Alabama Archives which were NOT white-washing the history of slavery. I was very pleased to see terminology like 'enslaved' vs 'slaves'.

I think its time for an escort system. If you are a student who is active on Palestine and who is not a citizen, or if your friend is, you need to walk with them so that if this happens someone is there to advocate and witness at least.
