Today would be a good day to read and share my essay about trans medicine and trans autonomy, and why trans people are complexly traumatized without them.

We deserve for our bodies to belong to us. We deserve lives we can live.

I’d love for cis people to read this.

But don't worry. I'm going to keep posting about Monroe Owsley in 2025, 2026, and so forth. There's still much to learn about him, and I hope answers will come forward as more people learn about Monroe Owsley.

You can read Ace of Cads for free at most etailers!

In no form or fashion did I start 2024 thinking I would try to solve an Old Hollywood mystery, but Monroe Owsley found me. 2024 was my year of the Ace of Cads.

love this thread and just wanted to say that when I see trans women finding joy in womanhood, it’s wonderful, both because I like to see people find joy and because it’s liberating for me. it helps me see my own relationship to womanhood in a new light, like, hey, what if it was fun to be a girl?
i find there’s a not so small number of cis women who look from the outside into transfem spaces and go “how come they are having fun being girls while i get made to feel like shit for that?” and this ends up going (reductively) one of two ways. 🧵

I didn't know I had a nervous laugh 😭 😭 new levels of social anxiety unlocked.

Today is Transgender Day of Remembrance. Each year, the trans community loses too many lives, especially trans women of color, to hate and violence.

More than ever, we must stand by our trans family and support them, hold space for them, and insist the scapegoating and targeting stop.

Now.
