I was hoping for some cash for Xmas but didn't get any, so I guess it's time to do this again. The end is in sight, but we're not quite there yet.

This (and the post above in the thread) is really such a good point to consider. Discovering unmarketed tropes IS fun! Running into a triggering subject unexpectedly is less fun. Self-pub and indie romance is getting better at content notes that reduce harm for readers, but trad is still a minefield
