I had just finished my Sailor's Delight reread and then saw this wonderful thread! Many of my highlights are listed here, but I am amused how many of my other favourites involve references to Elie's pocket calendar! This one though spoke very directly to me and stuck in my mind a lot too.

Just started reading Wild Things by Laura Kay, where the protagonist is declaring this her year of being wild, despite the scepticism of her friends, and errr I feel incredibly seen...

Oooh that is a Large!!
We saw this awesome katydid today (I think! I'm not great at identification) that I barely managed to photo as it was leaping constantly. It's in 10cm high grasses here.
