okay last thing about the stupid hockey show, but i think it’s sort of telling that people will say things like “gay men in sports is FORBIDDEN but women who play contact sports are all expected to be gay so a drama about lesbian romance would be boring.” do you hear yourselves?

like actually people are allowed to critique one or the other without making the internet froth at the mouth

i love critiquing art. when i critique art its because that is art i enjoyed and left some sort of impact on me—usually. i tore Jupiter Ascending a new one (sorry Lana and Lilly 😭) cause the impact on me was uhhh… not good. anyway, god i wish people could be normal about this.

y’all ever consider the linguistic quirks of dating vs married? both describe a current state of a relationship but the former is spoken of in a transitory, active way (i am dating this woman) while the latter is spoken of as a past-tense accomplishment (i married that woman). just interesting
