Due to being a refugee, I only get invited to interviews for menial and service jobs. Because of my disability, I can't work those. I live on modest and sporadic freelance earnings and can't afford surgical expenses. Please help if you can 🙏

like the only acceptable position on “who has it worse, gay men or lesbians?” is “we live in a structurally homophobic and lesbophobic society that enforces heterosexuality as the only acceptable default and if you’re asking who has it worse you’re an awful person.” and yet…

and tbc about something in regards to queer art. you see this kinda nonsense a lot in both edgy or tragic art vs fluff art. people get so pressed and it’s so aggravating.
like actually people are allowed to critique one or the other without making the internet froth at the mouth

y’all ever consider the linguistic quirks of dating vs married? both describe a current state of a relationship but the former is spoken of in a transitory, active way (i am dating this woman) while the latter is spoken of as a past-tense accomplishment (i married that woman). just interesting
