The intersection of two major thoroughfares, Bernard and Ave. du Parc, has been blocked off at the height of rush hour. (A child was run over and killed by the driver of a truck here earlier this year.)

Imaginez si au lieu de démolir le Petit Train du Nord pour le remplacer plus tard par une piste cyclabe on l'avait gardé, modernisé et ensuite doublé par une piste cyclable.
Et qu'on avait rajouté des stations pour rejoindre directement les pistes de St-Saveur, Val David, Mt-Tremblant, etc.

My kids and I felt super unsafe crossing the Champlain. What happened to the concrete barriers? We crossed in comfort last year, but those flexisticks do not protect us. Are bikelanes for everyone or not? Are you looking after everyone or just those in cars?
