New Illustration: "We Beat 'Em Before..."

Taken from a British WW2 poster, the original features a WW1 German soldier at the top. I just swapped it for the Nazi soldier it had at the bottom.

On that last post: I genuinely cannot think of any good-faith reason to bar international adoptions from those 39 countries. Under this new ban, consulates will refuse adoption visas for any baby from Cuba, Haiti, Venezuela, Nigeria, or any of the 39 other countries.

This is the exact lighting they use for the pic to accompany a profile of a professor who got suspended because he kept using slurs in class as a supposed intellectual provocation.
I guess this has probably already gone viral somewhere but I am simply dying at this picture of a bear that looks like it hired a photographer to do a glamour shoot

Rob Reiner was one of the key people behind the effort to go to court to overturn California's anti-marriage equality Proposition 8 when it passed in 2008.

Working with Chad Griffin, they founded the American Foundation for Equal Rights and got Ted Olson and David Boies to team up to fight Prop 8.

If the DNC picked up anything from my department’s lounge, they’d be leaning in HARD on pop punk, Trader Joe’s, and cats.
i am once again asking who the "leftist extremists in the faculty lounge" shaping democratic party priorities are, and what policies it is that they are instituting

At least two of the Brown University students who were on campus when a deadly shooting unfolded there on Saturday have survived school shootings before. “What I’ve been feeling most is just, like, how dare this country allow this to happen to someone like me twice?”
2 Students at Brown Witnessed School Shootings as Children
Both women said the shooting on Saturday had damaged a sense of security they had cultivated for years based on the notion that they were unlikely to witness two school shootings in one lifetime.
