🙌🏽 A huge win for Haitian families and all working people. Thanks to the bravery of Haitians who shared stories and the groups that challenged the Trump admin, Haitians with Temporary Protected Status (TPS) can breathe easier today. The fight for a path to citizenship continues! #TPSjustice
BREAKING: A federal judge blocked the Trump administration from ending TPS for Haiti. This means that 350,000 Haitians can keep working, contributing, & remain with their families in the US for now. A big win, but the fight for permanent protections isn’t over. amp.miamiherald.com/news/local/i...

✊ This past Friday, SEIU 509 members joined with labor & community allies at the South Bay Center to demand ICE out of our communities! The current administration is aiming to divide working people & using violence to enforce this division. 509 won't stop fighting until every worker is safe! #ICEOut

Federal workers refused to stay silent and WON.

The Protect America’s Workforce Act is moving forward because workers organized, built a working majority, and forced Congress to act.

WORKER POWER MADE THIS HAPPEN. 🎉

In a rare moment of contracts aligning (and bosses failing to offer fair raises for over a year), both Lesley full-time and adjunct faculty are bargaining at the same time. Hierarchies of faculty are administrative shams. Solidarity is the only way anyone wins.
✊ Today, Lesley University faculty and students marched on the president to deliver a petition signed by over 500 supporters, including a supermajority of faculty, demanding a fair contract for CORE faculty and adjuncts!
