This past June, @simmonsuniversity.bsky.social adjuncts won their union with SEIU 509! Yesterday, as part of their fight for their first union contract, they delivered 100 holiday cards from students and supporters to the President, calling for fair wages, job security, & expanded benefits.

In a rare moment of contracts aligning (and bosses failing to offer fair raises for over a year), both Lesley full-time and adjunct faculty are bargaining at the same time. Hierarchies of faculty are administrative shams. Solidarity is the only way anyone wins.
✊ Today, Lesley University faculty and students marched on the president to deliver a petition signed by over 500 supporters, including a supermajority of faculty, demanding a fair contract for CORE faculty and adjuncts!
