In a rare moment of contracts aligning (and bosses failing to offer fair raises for over a year), both Lesley full-time and adjunct faculty are bargaining at the same time. Hierarchies of faculty are administrative shams. Solidarity is the only way anyone wins.
✊ Today, Lesley University faculty and students marched on the president to deliver a petition signed by over 500 supporters, including a supermajority of faculty, demanding a fair contract for CORE faculty and adjuncts!

✊ We’re proud to have joined our Protecting Massachusetts Communities (PMC) coalition partners yesterday in testifying at the State House. We call on our elected officials to pass legislation to defend immigrant communities from continued attacks. (1/2)

Generation after generation, Native American workers have shown us how to organize, resist, and win.

This month, we honor that legacy and stand firm against attacks on equity and representation. The fight continues and our solidarity is unwavering!

It's DAY 12 of our national, open-ended ULP strike.

Thousands of baristas in over 65 cities are on strike demanding higher wages, better hours, and an end to union-busting. And we're just getting started 🔥

The shutdown’s over, but the damage is real.
Workers went unpaid. Families lost food aid. Healthcare costs are climbing.
Thune, Johnson, and Trump’s White House caused this chaos.
Working families WON’T FORGET and WE WON’T FORGIVE.🔥🔥

Solidarity with Starbucks workers on STRIKE for what they deserve! ✊
As of this morning, Starbucks workers across the country are officially ON STRIKE. And we're prepared for this to become the biggest and longest ULP strike in Starbucks history.

Say #NoContractNoCoffee with us: DON'T BUY STARBUCKS for the duration of our open-ended ULP strike! $SBUX

This Veterans Day, let's honor our heroes with more than just words. Our Veterans are owed access to quality healthcare, mental health support, stable housing, and the respect they’ve earned. Real gratitude means action. Let’s stand up for those who’ve served. #VeteransDay

🥦🍎🥕SNAP doesn’t just feed families, it strengthens our communities, supporting food banks, grocery stores & the good jobs that keep food on America’s tables. In 2020, it supported nearly 200,000 grocery workers.
Hunger doesn’t stop during a shutdown & neither should benefits.

🚨The same lawmakers who refuse to lower healthcare costs for working families are now ready to take food from kids, seniors, and people with disabilities.

If this shutdown continues, 42 million people could lose SNAP benefits in November.
Unacceptable — full stop.

🚨In rural towns, SNAP is an economic lifeline. Those same communities, already having to travel further for work and medical care, could lose access to affordable food too.

That’s right! We have more in common with our immigrant neighbors, friends, and coworkers than we do with the billionaires who profit from our hard work and take away our healthcare.
When politicians and billionaires try to divide working people by scapegoating immigrants, we know exactly who benefits — and it’s NOT everyday people working hard just to make ends meet. (1/2)
