When my cat Ellie died a few weeks ago, there were about 24 hours when I saw her out of the corner of my eye or heard her meow. My partner had the same thing happen to them. A day later, the experiences stopped.
I like to think she was saying goodbye before moving on.

I went to Emerson College, a queer art school, and as part of the honors program (which gave me a steep tuition discount) I was REQUIRED to take evopsych. I have to wonder if this is why.

I find it fascinating that 3D printing is on its way to being revolutionary while AI is a dead end, yet I only ever really hear about 3D printing from hobbyists while AI is pushed everywhere. I guess it's because 3D printing requires actually making things and doesn't scale well for infinite growth.

It really does seem like there's a decent chance that these senators screwed us because they don't want their personal Thanksgiving plans to be disrupted.
Anyway a great way to radicalize people is for them to realize that you just abandoned their chance at being able to access and afford health care because you didn’t like waiting in line at the airport.
