Alt text should be the standard. It's so much easier and takes so much less time than you think, plus it gets around the character limit so you can say even more, if you want to.

I'm not back but I heard people were asking so I'll pop by. had a rough past couple years. been to like nine funerals in 2025. every time I'd recover from one, someone else would die unexpectedly. hug your friends and family. and I had to put my 18-year-old dog down just this Sunday. RIP, Phoebe.
Two years and two days ago, a woman delivered some chili to her new neighbors. Everyone was very happy and normal and there were no lasting effects.
