We couldn't afford to spend our entire dev budget on a trailer at THAT award show, but you can see it on Steam! And I'm so chuffed that even though this game is CRIMINALLY overlooked, 100% of our recent reviews were positive! 🛡️

But it came from evil, it is intended for evil purpose, & anything you do with it will be twisted to that end.

There's an unsurprising tendency across leaders in the tech world (games included) to see art as merely part of something's production line, a box that needs to be ticked before copies can be sold. It's why AI is often justified as something that saves time, or saves money. But with art, that process is the point. The themes and ideas artists draw on, the way they iterate through those ideas with sketches, the work itself is what creates art. There are no shortcuts.

One of the last things I worked on for Possessor(s) was the flashbacks. This one changed a lot over the time I worked on it, the car was once a future '90s motorbike, and I kinda miss that version. Also, the cat on the billboard is @mllepilgrim.bsky.social's cat, Boubou. #ConceptArt #GameDev

Share your knowledge if/when you can. Teaching other people how to do what you do doesn’t lessen your art - it just means more and better art for everyone.

I appreciate when people are willing to tell me about their brushes, how they study, etc… I want to put that back out into the world.
