Rydell tried to imagine this place the way it had been before, when it was a regular bridge. Millions of cars had gone through here, this same space where he walked now. It had all been open then, just girders and railing and deck >

He knew, of course. He had always known it was Bill. Just as Control had known, & Lacon in Mendel's house. Just as Connie & Jim had known, & Alleline & Esterhase, all of them had tacitly shared that unexpressed half-knowledge which they hoped would go away if it was never diagnosed.

From the Primer:
Princess Nell put a spray of flowers in the grave w/Harv, along with a little children's story-book that he had given her many years ago. Harv couldnt read & many nights Nell had read to him from this book, and she supposed that he might like to have it wherever he was going now.

Observing the Mouse Army at a crossroads:
Hackworth unclipped a small optical device from his watch chain & used it to look over 1 girl's shoulder. She was looking at a diagram of a small nanotech device, working her way thru a tutorial that Hackworth had written several years ago.

While I like to think that the Snake Scales Liverwort, pictured below, matches the description "pre-Cambrian decorative cabbage," it is not local to the part of NW Scotland that is fictionally connected to Qwghlm by a treacherous sandspit. (that variety of Liverwort is found mostly in Canada)
When Lawrence Waterhouse sets foot on the Sceptered Isle for the first time in months, at the ferry terminal in Utter Maurby, he's startled to find allusions to springtime. The locals have installed flower boxes around the pier; all are abloom with some sort of pre-Cambrian decorative cabbage.

A Snow Crash sequel that's nothing more than "Ng Security
