Tyson is closing a Nebraska plant that employs 3,200 workers in order to “right-size” its business.

The meatpacking giant paid its CEO $22.7M last year, 525x its median employee's pay.

It also spent $196M in stock buybacks to reward shareholders.

Textbook corporate greed.

The only series I've seen on its level is Steven Erikson's Malazan book of the fallen

Wheel of Time is exceptional, and Sanderson did the impossible and landed another's plane perfectly
"He came like the wind, like the wind touched everything, and like the wind was gone."

14 books, and I can say I now get why people heap praises on The Wheel of Time as a fantasy series. It was truly a masterclass in world building, just, wow.

Thank you Robert Jordan and Brandon Sanderson.

Socialism is what they called public power.

Socialism is what they called social security.

Socialism is what they called the growth of free and independent labor organizations.

Socialism is their name for almost anything that helps all the people.

I present my review of "Unfettered," John Fetterman's memoir. In between petty grievances about doing his job, Fetterman asserts that he's feeling good.

Two days after "Unfettered" came out, Fetterman fell directly on his face from ventricular fibrillation, a life-threatening heart rhythm disorder.

The President can ignore that rule - but only once (per district) and only for 120 days.

Do you know who appoints DAs after the 120 day mark has passed?

Pam Bondi doesn't. Because it's the judiciary.
