It might not be my cup of tea, but the music of Imagine Dragons makes a lot of people happy, and that's a huge problem.

New rule: If someone complains about the economy or politicians, ask who they voted for. If the answer is Trump, just say, ‘You’re getting what you voted for.’ Accountability matters. Choices have consequences.

Are you not willing to sacrifice for your Lord and savior your Trump?

It’s fun trying to find that line between “I need to remain vigilant of the horrors afoot” and also “oh no my heart is racing and my jaw is making weird creaky sounds and I can taste pennies.”

They’re working overtime to muzzle free speech. Platforms once open are now in lockstep with censorship. BlueSky feels like a refuge, but how long will it last? Free speech demands vigilance. Trump’s exec order may claim to protect, but is it weaponizing? Stay skeptical.

We are about to enter an era of extreme and dangerous culture war in the United States. How do we protect our communities and work toward a cultural ceasefire? In this piece I wrote a couple months ago, I offer one possible path. wapo.st/40q1BDn
Opinion | Libraries can help end the culture wars. That’s why they’re under fire.
Nothing threatens authoritarianism like a free, quiet place to absorb a full range of information.

I wrote this song, "I Will Join You When I Can," a few years back, and I share it here in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. It began life as I thought about what Dr. King said to the audience in Memphis the night before he died, "I may not get there with you..."

Martin Luther King Jr. said that “the ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of challenge.” We are in a time of challenge.

The question for every leader, every citizen is where do you stand?

Today as we celebrate
the Reverend Martin Luther King

We must remember he too went to DC but with a wholly different and divine purpose

He filled that space with his goodness his immense love and that’s why he is celebrated

The inverted flag isn’t disrespect — it’s a distress signal from naval traditions, used to show grave danger to life or property.

With a lawless man set to take power after attempting to overthrow the government, America is in extreme danger.

That’s why I’m posting it today.
