I just counted 14 robins in the neighbor's yard. Come to find out, they really do go bob-bob-bobbing along.

Crossed the North Carolina state line around 5:30 p.m. today. Eternal thanks to Scott Hopkins for getting us home from Albany, N.Y., in the rental car. When it is returned tomorrow, this ill-fated tour will be done. But, above all, I am a lucky man. Lucky in friends. Lucky to be alive.
