Democrats should demand the dismantling of ICE, congressional hearings into its operations and prosecution of its worst offenders, but at the VERY least they must refuse to spend our tax money to fund these masked goons who are terrorizing our communities.
I think it is probably a bad idea to put clearly unhinged, angry psychopaths in federal law enforcement positions.

I’m sorry the decorum argument was dead ten fucking years ago when the entire republican party hitched themselves to mister “grab them by the pussy”

come on

I want to see every single congressional Democrat proposing & cosponsoring the Renee Nicole Good Act, which abolishes ICE, impeaches Noem, and imposes consequences on federal agents who murder citizens on our streets in cold blood.
Do you know who Willie Horton is? What about Laken Riley? How is it that you came to know these things?

Ok, now. Without googling, how many Jan 6 rioters have recidivated? Been charged with violent or child-sex crimes? What are their names? Who were their victims?

More on the disparity here.
What Would Republicans Do?
If a repugnant cabal of predators and perverts beats you in critical elections, their tactics are worth studying. And, in some cases, emulating.

We get trapped into thinking we can argue this regime and its supporters out of their positions with logic because they are merely being hypocrites.

But that’s not it . . .

Your regular reminder that ~90% of the lawless authoritarianism could end today, simply by these Senators & about 7 other people in Congress caucusing with the Democrats & giving them governing majorities in both chambers until the crimes & fascism stop.
Todd Young has voted YES on the Venezuela war powers resolution; Murkowski, Collins and Paul are a YES. This will have the simple-majority vote needed to pass unless one or more Democrats vote NO.

No CR until the masks of every one of these goons come down forever. Ds need to hold the line or let every subsequent line be broken forever.

As a future measure, any federal LE force that insists on hiding from the public should be disbanded.

Ds have power. Wield it while you can.
This is the ICE agent who murdered a woman by shooting her multiple times in the face.

Democrats need to understand that they can just say “It’s insane to threaten Greenland” and “I don’t think ICE should murder Americans in the street” and you don’t need to pretend to link it to the affordability crisis.

Say bad things are bad.

So Capitol Police officers were assaulted and injured on Jan 6th, the White House today is blaming them for the violence, and the people who attacked them have been pardoned and are back to mock and abuse them on the 5th anniversary.

And the GOP is the party of the police? Really? REALLY??
White House's newly-posted "timeline" of Jan 6 blames Capitol Police for Jan 6, which included an attack on ..... Capitol Police

On the 5th anniversary of the Jan 6th attack, let's remember that Brazil formally sentenced Bolsonaro for the violent coup attempt after he lost re-election because Brazil has a better-functioning democracy than the US does.

The mayor of New York City is doing more than the senate and house minority leaders
Zohran Mamdani, the new mayor of New York City, called President Trump on Saturday to personally object to strikes the U.S. had conducted in Venezuela and to the capture of its leader, Nicolás Maduro. Mamdani accused Trump of violating international law.

The aging pedophile who wants to be a king has kidnapped the leader of a sovereign nation without congressional approval.

If the United States had an opposition party, they would treat this as an illegitimate act and start impeachment proceedings immediately.

Millions of Americans remain at jobs they hate for one reason: the health insurance they receive. That’s absurd.

Universal health care will give Americans the freedom to choose the work they want without worrying about health care coverage.

Another reason for Medicare for All.

Congress could mandate that states use proportional representation, with parties getting a number of seats proportional to their share of the vote. Advocates are already pushing for some states to experiment with this reform.

Forest and trees re Epstein documents, as of now.

Trees: Controversies about particular documents.

Forest: Virtually none of the key documents, ones that we know exist, the ones the victims and knowledgeable observers have been demanding to see, have been released.

And so the coverup continues.
