A landlord turned off Tenant Client's family's heat upon learning Client was an immigrant.

Landlord hired three different law firms to argue this was legal, then fired each one after they couldn't get our case dismissed.

This week, landlord settled for enough that Client will buy a house.
Tell me something that brought you joy this week.

Any old thing will do. Small joys are as good as big ones—sometimes even better.

It’s always interesting to think about how democrats can’t unite behind any one candidate because they are the first to point out all the flaws and reasons to not support them ignoring the fact the the people they’re up against are embracing Nazis.

@stephentotilo.bsky.social any updates from you on this front? I really don’t want to unsubscribe from your great work, but I’m running out of options here.

I have a long held belief that conservatives cannot understand narrative and have no ability to deconstruct story whatsoever. It’s like some kind of universal comprehension barrier that they all share. Talking to them about literally any piece of media is actually a stunning experience.
Just saw a bad "anti-woke" take recommending that people watch the expanse, and let me just say, if you think the expanse ain't "woke" then all that tells me is that you deeply and fundamentally didn't understand the expanse.

My favorite part of BlueSky are the moderation lists. I’m subscribed to quite a few and they are so effective at keeping absolute maga degenerate fuck wads out of my feeds and it requires zero effort for sanity. Highly recommend if you’re not using them already.

Ha, that's cute. An upcoming platform brawler that imagines a world where police violence is good, actually, as it's directed at tax-evading billionaires.

Making sure money is successfully extracted and invested actually improves the infrastructure on later levels. No more collapsing platforms!
