Bluesky really started to hum for me when I got these settings dialed in.
Lordy, this day. Anyway, if you look at my TL it’s obvious. No Jeremy at all!

Monday fast approaches. Tell me I can do it. Or that I’m hot for an old guy. Or that you like my poetry. Or whatever.

Okay, sleep well, you magnificent beasts

Apparently there are horror movie enthusiasts in my vicinity, too.

One of the things I love most about the Winter Olympics is that we just cannot win the most medals there. It is good for us to not win all the medals sometimes. There are so many good places that are not us.

I did watch that extremely joyous halftime show and I loved every minute of it. I would have loved it no matter what but we have a long history of dancing salsa (not well, but with abandon) in my house, and also so much of what was up there was everywhere in South Florida. It was so great.

Just checked in on the game. It’s been an hour of real time and we’re at 0.43 Seattle - 0 New England.

Ope. Field goal.

Seattle is now winning 0.86 - 0.

We got fish and chips and shepherds pie from a local Irish pub and it was all very good but I also need to report that the shepherds pie I made a few weeks ago was *so much better.*

Come get (and maybe give) some joy
Tell me something that brought you joy this week.

Any old thing will do. Small joys are as good as big ones—sometimes even better.

Happy Whiskey Saturday to all who celebrate
We finally bought some amaro so we could make Black Manhattans at home. First result is very promising, I like it. Cheers to Whiskey Saturday.

The wind is blowing so hard it sounds like the house is going to fall down.

The Italian pastrami hash at Café Magnolia is possibly the best thing I have eaten in my entire life. Amazing!

Small potatoes halved and roasted with coarse salt, topped with pastrami and an egg with the most delicious horseradish sauce. I can't even explain how perfect this dish is 💗

I have a friend and collaborator who I have worked with the longest out of anyone and who is the best creative leader I've ever seen and he is fast preparing to publish his first book—about creativity, of course—and I am so proud and pleased about it, I can't even
