Animal rescue is so hard because sometimes horrible things keep happening over and over -- sometimes, even to the same animals. On 12/15/2024 my son and I found this puppy eating trash in the street and brought him to

The kiddo and I are in a salad phase. Tonight, salad with spicy chicken fingers, sweet peppers, honey sesame sticks, garlic herb cashews, pepitas, and bleu cheese. So good!

Hahaha. Please play with any filters and effects you want and see if there are any Northern Lights here. When I photo edit, I can see clouds. By contrast, this is what my friends are seeing 🤣

I'm going to attempt to walk up my hill to see if I can see the Northern Lights, but I'm getting nonstop animal rescue calls :-/ I don't think anyone understands what it's like now. Puppy found living in a haystack, all kinds of missing/found pets. Nonstop and very sad 💔

A not-for-profit just called me because I needed to update my debit card number with them and thanked me for my "longevity" of donating to them since 2003. So, while a lot of my relationships don't last, the ones with not-for-profits do ♥️

This is the apple dumpling recipe if anyone wants to make them. Super easy to make! Although coring the apples was a challenge for me. I should invest in a doodad to make it easier.
