This is why I don’t forgive

This lady is old enough to remember this country turning BOATS of Jews away to die at Hitlers hands while accepting “contrite” scientists

She shouldn’t care about nothing but outliving these bastards and enjoying her time left

What we are all experiencing is called "resilience targeting." It is a deliberate attack favored by many of todays shitlords, and is a fairly well known theory in disinfo and climate circles; it's just that everyone seems to be in denial that it's an attack. Today might be a good day to read up

Everything keeps breaking on me so I don't have promo graphics, but hello, I have a book out today!

It's a queer exploration of the Japanese Red String of Fate myth. If you like cozy magic, banter, pining, & stories that explore the inherent queerness of pre-modern Japan, this one's for you! 🌈📚

“I am not saying it’s CIA or not,” a former intelligence analyst who worked at Langley for more than a decade tells WIRED. “But it’s reckless that this information is out there at all. It speaks to the fact that these guys have no interest in even understanding government operations.”
A Sensitive Complex Housing a CIA Facility Was on GSA's List of US Properties for Sale
Plans to redevelop a Northern Virginia warehouse site have long been complicated by the area’s worst-kept secret—the presence of a CIA facility. The GSA put the site up for sale anyway.

NEW: A now-deleted list containing hundreds of US government properties that the General Services Administration (GSA) plans to sell includes most of a sprawling, highly sensitive federal complex in Springfield, Virginia that also houses a secretive CIA facility, WIRED has learned.

It's also REALLY notable that at least in 2022, prohibiting trans kids from playing on sports teams that aligned with their gender identity wasn't an 80-20, 70-30, or even 60-40 issue.

And broadly, the majority wanted to PROTECT trans people from discrimination.

Americans’ Complex Views on Gender Identity and Transgender Issues
Most favor protecting trans people from discrimination, but fewer support policies related to medical care for gender transitions; many are uneasy with the pace of change on trans issues.

cis folks,

please do not let us die. please stand up for us.

outside of contacting your reps, please say something when a family member or friend says something abhorrent about trans people (especially youth)

it starts by letting assholes know that everyone else does not think like them

please.

Last week, Republicans voted to gut Medicaid and take away healthcare from 8-year-old kids like William.

Don’t let them lie to you. This is what they voted for.

But we still have a chance to stop it.

NEW: Colorado last year became the first state to mandate that all jails set up in-person polling places. (Remember: most people in jail are held pretrial & retain voting rights, but practically it's super hard for them to vote.)

And then? Turnout soared — multiplied by roughly 10 over 2022:
Jail Voting Soars in Colorado After State Mandates Polling Places in County Lockups - Bolts
Local officials had claimed they were already giving detained people ballot access, but Colorado's first-in-the-nation mandate forced their hands and increased turnout across the state.

Measles is caused by a virus.

There are no antivirals for illness.

Treatment is symptom management & supportive care.

Treatment is NOT:
• antibiotics (it’s a virus)
• unproven wellness products
• cod liver oil, “nutrition hacks,” or supplements.

We can prevent measles:
with the MMR vaccine.
