They're reportedly on Candler Road in Gwinnette / DeKalb County now.
Reports of ICE in Jackson County Ga today.
Unconfirmed reports that they tried to enter the SK Battery plant in Commerce and were turned away. After the international incident they provoked at the Hyundai plant I’m shocked but not surprised thy would go anywhere near that facility. #gapol

This is why I hate when people call Beto or Stacey Abrams losers - the work they did (and continue to do after their losses) has made a difference in their states and with Georgia, in the nation
And even more - lots of first timers said “I know I’m going to lose my first election” which would be unheard of in NYC. They view it as capacity building

Both Obama and Biden understood the importance of technology and its role within the Government. One of my friends was asst Tech head during Obama and Tech Head during Biden (for a year and a half).

That this administration fears technology says a LOT.
EXCLUSIVE: DOGE whistleblower and former SSA Chief Data Officer Chuck Borges is running for office.

In his first interview since announcing his campaign for Maryland State Senate, he describes being sidelined at SSA + why government needs more technologists.

Wilson is now leading in the vote count for Seattle mayor by 91 votes. There are still several thousand ballots to count, likely—based on historical examples—to favor Wilson.

Wilson may be the most truly "urbanist" mayoral candidate in the country.
Who is Katie Wilson?

She’s head of the Seattle Transit Riders Union.

Her platform proposes to massively increase funding for affordable housing, cut red tape for development, shift away from single occupancy cars, & develop the transit network.

And she may well be the next mayor of the city.
In my spreadsheet (which makes assumptions about fall off, write-ins, probably has mistakes, etc.), Katie needed to average 54.6% to win by a little over 100 votes.

Today she got 54.85%.

A friend says she needs 54.2% from here on out--will do my own math shortly.

My generation (Gen Xers) gets a (rightfully earned) bad rap for being more conservative than our damned parents were/are.

Katie Wilson is a breath of fresh air and I think would be FANTASTIC for Seattle.

SUPER happy she's taken the lead from the incumbent Boomer (who is a pretty decent guy, FYI)
Woohoo! @wilsonforseattle.bsky.social now leads the Seattle mayor's race by 91 votes!

And, again, as much as some Americans HATE the idea of "how far left" Mamdani is, in all honesty, Americans are prudes.

He'd almost be middle of the road in Europe.

Dems need to wake TF up. We want more people like Mamdani in office. THESE are going to be the movers and shakers & change makers.
Like, the most exciting thing about the elections this week was Mamdani winning.

The candidate that establishment dems fought tooth and nail to try and avoid. That the most powerful dems in the party never endorsed. Yeah the dem brand is still shit.

We've also never had a 40+ day shutdown, either. And this ain't business as usual. Even Der Cheetodustolini's 2nd term is much different than its first.
As I said last month, the party that pushes for a shutdown never gets what they want.
-In 2013, Cruz tried to defund Obamacare via shutdown, didn't work
-In 2018, Dems did for DREAMers, it failed
-Trump shut the government down for his border wall. it failed

@ossoff.senate.gov and @warnock.senate.gov, don't you DARE sell out the people who supported and voted for you.

Y'all better be a HARD no on ANY compromise involving the ACA, or you're both going to be primaried out QUICKLY.

Rev. Warnock, this ain't "good trouble". This is bending the knee.
2/ The Senators who want to vote yes on basically any terms appear to be shaheen, Hassan, king and Fetterman. Slightly less clear but I think pushing that way are Peters and Durbin. You’ll note that four of these six are retiring. Others who seem on the fence include the two sens from Georgia and …

You know what would be a great way to celebrate Mamdani’s historic win?

Donate to a food bank. Give to community fridges. Call and check on your disabled or elderly neighbour and see if they need groceries.

SNAP still hasn’t been funded and people need help now.

Just an FYI, Hobby Lobby boycott started LONG before last year. When it came out that they interfered with their employee's health care choices (and demands to be exempt from anti-discrimination laws, antisemitism, theft of ancient artifacts, and so much more). Might want to brush up on these. :)
The Big Beautiful Boycott!! 🙌🏾

Started w/Target, Walmart, Amazon, & Hobby Lobby last year right before the elections, and have continued to shift my dollars to black-owned and/or small business owners. I hope Americans realize that money does talk in this country and that's the only thing they see.

You might want to re-think this, Chris. SEVERAL of us are doing the Tuesday before Thanksgiving through Cyber Monday.

And now we're talking about expanding it through the holidays.

Exceptions: Small business, local business, absolutely necessary items (groceries, etc).
Hey everyone, early heads up, @50501oc.bsky.social is planning a boycott for Black Friday weekend through Cyber Monday, and I’ll be joining in. Feel free to participate and send a message to corporations who continue to bend the knee to fascism!
