A very interesting ideas - and suggest a similar city & county of well being for @waterfordcouncil.bsky.social #Waterford - home of John Treacy and Sean Kelly, pioneer of the greenway, with sea and mountains, school of nursing etc.

Glad to see I didn’t need to use it but in advance of storm checked I could power a strip of sockets off my EV car if, required, by boiling a kettle!

The most concise statement of the problem that I’ve seen is by @barryjmalone.bsky.social ‘If UK doesn’t know what comes in to its market it cannot know what is in the supply chain of its exports.’ That’s it in a nutshell. I don’t know why people find it so hard to understand.

Good to see such a strong editorial from the Irish Independent. And for it to not be behind their paywall (for now at least) so everyone can see it. m.independent.ie/opinion/edit...

Apple has opted iOS and MacOS users into an AI photo scanning feature which tries to extract landmarks from your photos called Enhanced Visual Search by default with little notice.

Mad to see #Waterford City has the worst traffic problems in #Ireland. Another impact of long term state under investment in the city and region. #speirgorm

Think my favourite Reddit thread today is the one where someone interrupted a raven funeral and now the birds won't stop shitting on their car. I mean, you did this to yourself bro. Never mess with ravens. www.reddit.com/r/NoStupidQu...

My head hurts reading the Israeli interpretations of Irish history. It’s disturbing to see so much pseudohistory deployed in order to [as our president noted] declare everyone Irish, everywhere, ‘antisemitic’.

Remember this classic? Disney understood almost 75 years ago what too much driving (and bad suburban sprawl creating car dependancy specifically) can do to any of us.
