tl;dr in a certain sense, trans women are more 'valued' in patriarchal sexual relations as penetrable 'lesser males' that can be abused, violated, and discarded. Any assertion on our part of our humanity or dignity is taken as us trying to 'rise above our stations' and invites pushback.

40k words down in my novel, yo. This shit is complex now. It has everything, from monsters to a smartypants trans character making linguistic puns on Hindi vs Urdu, to deep questions on what rasa, bhāvam and Bhakti mean. Been an emotional ride for me too finishing chapters 8 & 9. Needs editing tho
