Reminder: the real competition of who thrives in the 2st Century is who's best at renewable energy technology. Trump is making us lose.

trump *explicitly saying* it's About The Oil does not actually signify that it is about the oil, it signifies that Trump's brain is leaking out of his fucking ears and he genuinely believes it's about the oil because someone juiced it to him that way to get him to support a coup they wanted btw

In 1989, George H.W. Bush ordered an invasion of Panama to arrest President Manuel Noriega. Compared to Democrats today, they reaction was unqualified praise.

"'My reaction is: Finally! At last!' said House Armed Services Committee Chairman Les Aspin (D-Wis.)"

Vice President Delcy Rodriguez appears in a new video with Diosdado and other high-ranking military and civil officials. It's a serious attempt to display unity

She directly contradicts Trump statements, promising fierce "resistance" to "illegal and aggressive US actions"

She is def in Caracas

This is the correct response. Thanks, Rep. Ramirez.
Many Americans woke up to a sick sense of deja vu. Under the guise of liberty, an administration of warmongers has lied to justify an invasion and is dragging us into an illegal, endless war so they can extract resources and expand their wealth. 1/2

Your reminder that Republicans like Mike Lee are useless in opposing Trump where it matters.

They're fully aware people who understand a situation room is supposed to be secure will see these & point out the problems. They know enough people will dismiss it or blame Democrats for not stopping it (whatever "it" is) that they don't care anymore.
Upon closer inspection I was giving them too much credit by assuming it was pipe and drape. There’s no piping.

They just tossed curtains haphazardly over that shit.

Trump's been caught so many times releasing video & photos where it looks like he's waving to a crowd & it turns out no one is there, that there's zero reason to think this stuff isn't staged nonsense.

This video falsely claims to show US strikes on the Fort Tiuna military site in Venezuela this morning.

In fact, it shows Iranian missile strikes on Israel during the 12-day war in June.

In 2026, Democrats MUST take back the House.

As a DCCC Recruitment Co-Chair, I’m doing everything I can to make sure we have strong, energetic candidates who will fight for working families and lower their costs when they flip their districts from red to blue. 💪🏾

Jews who want to be Jewish in public need to provide for their defense, folks. No way this thinking blows back against other groups who are targeted by assholes.🙄
Begs the question: Why did they go ahead or not move the event indoors or organize more of their own security.

The tl/dr of this apologia for voter apathy is that somehow the Democrats needed a wakeup call to move the party left & we'll be better off that Trump won in 2024. It's a great piece of Bluesky catnip

I am a believer in electoralism. I work for Dem victory every chance I get. But I also work closely on OTHER organizing projects with people who DON'T believe in electoralism, and I think their views are too often too facilely rejected.
