I think this really is it. What drew me to the site fifteen years ago was the sense of collaboration and community, which subsequently got so badly mismanaged.
I'm fuzzy on some details, but clearly a lot of people got hurt who didn't need to get hurt at all.

And the thing is... WE STILL WANTED TO DO THEM. Yes, stress, yes, legit complaints about the films themselves... but it was a great opportunity to be creative, promote ourselves, and hang out with friends. And we wanted more new people to have the experience, too.
