I made this for you. And you. And your trans friend. And their cis friend’s trans kid. And your lawyer friend who does pro bono. And your mom who keeps saying we’re overreacting. And your attorney. And your partner. And your provider. And your representative. And your city councilor. But mostly you.

Everyone in DC knows that if you want to hide something, announce it on a Friday in August. Better yet, make it nearly impossible to track down.

That's exactly what SCOTUS did last week. But the news is too staggering to hide for long: SCOTUS has decided it's time to destroy the Voting Rights Act.
The Supreme Court prepares to end voting rights as we know it
And they don't want you to notice.

Listen if you don’t want to write, stop wanting to be a writer. Go find something you actually want to do.
One thing that I notice is that books and games that use AI text keep getting caught out because they cut and pasted the text and didn't remove the prompts or replies. Which suggests that using AI goes hand in hand with a general "fuck it, that'll do" lack of attention to detail throughout.

Final vote. 50-50. VP breaks the tie.

One single GOP Senator could have stopped this abomination. Saved millions of parents from watching their child go hungry. Saved the lives destroyed when Medicaid disappears.

They will all live forever with the horror of this bill.

It's the last day of #PrideMonth and I would once again like to talk about the itchio bundles we put together for #PrideBookFair.

I put a lot of time into organizing these with Cara Nox, gathering 100+ authors and creating both a big bundle and smaller one, ALL QUEER BOOKS.
