I also have so far decided not to track actual daily word counts because I don’t ever want to discourage myself. Even baby steps forward count.

I’ve debated raising the bar to 200 words per day but I think the answer is no, why fuck with a system that’s working this well

100 word minimum keeps the bar really low (low enough I can still do it when the hellscape gets overwhelming or my chronic issues kick my ass) but never discourages me from doing more than the minimum.
