Mad misjudgment to treat this one word tweet as news. And to fail to even give as context the constitutional position that makes it utter nonsense

Elon Musk is starting to risk getting Jess Phillips killed. She's been safeguarding minister for six months. She oversaw nothing relating to the rape gangs. As an opposition MP she was one of the most prominent campaigners for the victims.

What he's doing is a travesty.

Harsh to go after their own players like this, they should probably focus on trying to win one game again first.

My instinctive reaction to the Biden pardon is: good for him. It feels like a father protecting a son from a vindictive system which is about to get a lot more vindictive. Should presidents have such a power? Probably not. But the American system is so screwed at the moment I find it hard to care.

To pen three inflammatory pages on the basis of a complete fabrication (or mishearing) would be a sackable offence in any healthy newspaper

But this is the Telegraph and we have a media ecosystem that manufactures mendacity all day long
Allison Pearson claimed police accused her of a “non-crime hate incident” after a tweet misidentifying a protest photo. Essex Police say that never happened, releasing footage to prove it. Pearson now says she might have “misheard” – but not before the Telegraph ran three front pages on the claim.

This poll about another EU referendum isn't going quite the way the Daily Express thought at the moment.
POLL: Do you agree with Carol Vorderman that there should be a referendum on rejoining the EU?

Personally, I’ve always preferred the mute button to the full block. Somehow I like the idea of trolls screaming into the void, still expecting to be heard.

And I’m sorry to report that after a blissful first few days here, it is already starting to be deployed!

Just how much more "47 caps for Italy in a functional wide-midfield role, 1995-2004, now quietly doing very interesting things with Lecce after a baptism of managerial fire in his first job with Roma and remaining coy over rumours of interest from Inter" can Joaquin Phoenix get from here
