Wow. After nearly three years, diagnosis, mediation, a tribunal and FINALLY an assessment, my eldest has been awarded an EHCP by the Local Authority.

In reality it’s a chance to take over the first term of a government with a huge majority. It’s the political opportunity of a lifetime.

It is becoming ever clearer to me that humanity’s greatest fault is who it chooses as its leaders. To take Douglas Adams’ dictum about never allowing those who want power near it, may I add - never let people choose them either.
