Going to go out on a limb here and say the inability of this fuckwit to get a drink after 1am in Soho probably has considerably more to do with his fuckwittery than it does with Soho.
Fascinating to break this down and understand what stage of brainworms the Spectatorati are at now.

🎯 Davey is spot on. "We can have criticism of the BBC, but within that, we need to recognise how valuable an institution it is [and how] precious to our country. And that's one of the reasons why people like President Trump and Nigel Farage, want to undermine the BBC." 👏🏽~AA

Trump literally posted an AI mock up of him dumping faeces on his own population from a fighter plane while wearing a crown, but yeah, the BBC should definitely issue a statement of contrition begging forgiveness for splicing together two sentences from the same speech just before a coup attempt. 🙄

Delighted to reach 7K followers on here. Thank you all.
Personally I find it quite hard to believe there are 7000 filthy pinko libtard snowflake leftie bleeding hearts still operating in this country, as it swings so bravely towards fascism - but it’s my echo chamber, and I rather like it.

I reckon they should put @zackpolanski.bsky.social in charge. See what he does with some actual power. (And I would love to see Boris Johnson’s op-ed on a gay vegan environmentalist taking over Auntie.)

Could put himself on Question Time more often than Farage for a start. 🤣
the right winger who was appointed to lead the BBC in the hope of appeasing right wingers has been driven out by right wingers for not appeasing right wingers enough and the BBC has the chance to do the funniest thing ever

I DEMAND Panorama IMMEDIATELY produces a documentary showing Kamala Harris not instigating a violent riot, not sexually assaulting anyone, or getting fined for denying it, or being found guilty of business fraud, or f*cking a porn star AND accepting the result of an election.
You know. For balance.

Seems the bbc will do absolutely anything for celebrity traitors.

One can only imagine what the BBC would have had to do if there really HAD been an insurrection at the Capitol on Jan 6 2021 where people died, instigated by a man telling a mob to ‘fight like hell’. 🤔🤯
(Although even I must admit I have no idea how you ‘peacefully & patriotically’ fight like hell.)

6 year old firing his crossbow gun in the house, just hit a painting. Told him to stop it.

6 yo - 'What's the point of having it if you don't fire it?'

Am now attempting to explain the nuclear deterrent to my little Putin.

The BBC may have f**ked up slightly by splicing two sections of a Trump speech together to (somehow) make him look worse, but there’s hardly the same bluster when Fox or GBeebies do it.

It has many faults, but if you really want to know how precious the BBC is, just check who’s attacking it.

Aggravate the Reform voter in your life by informing them a St George’s Cross at half-mast is the traditional centrepiece of a classic Winterval lamppost decoration.

Tim Davie is accused of misleading the British public & must ‘explain or resign’ according to Boris Johnson, a man who spent his entire political career misleading the British public with no explanation, & only resigned when his enough of his MPs resigned rather than serve under him. Jog on BoJo.

Love the euphemism inherent in this analysis. Is it really the Mamdani ‘policy profile’ that won’t ‘appeal in swing states’? Or perhaps they’re worried there just *might* be something else they don’t like about him… 🤔

To quote the descriptive genius that is Edmund Blackadder, Donald Trump really does have all the taste of ‘a dung beetle who’s lost interest in his career and really let himself go,’ doesn’t he?

Even Americans are starting to notice.

Fuck I hate the media. Why is this even a story? Surely the ONE positive thing you can say about Andrew is he fought in the Falklands, so he got a medal.
Taking it away would be denying reality in the way his his brother’s chest is full of medals he did nothing to earn.
Why is that not the story!?

Forty five minute wait for Room Service at The Park Lane Hilton.

I might write to my MP.

(You should see the ‘cover’ charge and ‘tray charge’ too. Insanity. Glad I’m not bloody paying…)

Trump, Donald J:
“Oh no it isn’t!” 🤡
Here's another bit of conventional wisdom Zohran completely blew away: His speech was at well above a 10th-grade level. It was complex, erudite, punctuated by deep and fluent references. You don't have to condescend to voters with baby talk! Part of re-establishing norms is speaking like an adult.

What never seems to have occurred to those ‘Great Replacement Theory’ guys is that their replacement might be better than them. Great, even. 🤣

Little query apropos of, erm...nuffink. Honest.

Anyone been flashed on the M1 southbound recently (Luton-ish) by a camera that Waze utterly failed to announce was there...? Or anywhere else for that matter. Beginning to doubt Waze's veracity.
(And yes, I know it's still MY fault. Hypothetically.)

Ah good. Having commented to a friend the other day one thing that had never bothered me was back pain, I appear to have somehow ‘done my back’ & am now inching around like a pissed rheumatoid sloth trying to appear sober.

Good job I haven’t got a big awards do at The Hilton today or anything. 😱

Isn’t there a far better argument to say his most egregious mistakes were the deliberate actions of a serious CEO who leveraged his political position to enrich both his company and himself to the detriment of humankind?

Less catchy headline, I know. 🤷‍♂️

If you’re lambasting someone for a ‘masterclass in managed decline’ a year into a job you yourself held for the previous fourteen, you’re actually giving a masterclass in stupidity.
Badenoch is (very) effectively blaming those dastardly Tories, yet appears unable to comprehend that fact.
Badenoch is thus far mainly castigating Reeves. She calls Reeves’ speech “a masterclass in managed decline” and “a laundry list of excuses”. As with last week’s outdoor speech a whole load of Tory MPs are here, and so we have a regular chorus of approving mutters and applause.
