There’s some very bad news hidden in the Ofgem price cap for January announced yesterday: the electricity to gas price ratio has jumped to 4.67, its highest level since before the energy crisis.

This is a big barrier to households adopting heat pumps in Britain, and threatens our climate goals

Little mention of their decision not to classify it as HCID - High Consequence Infectious Disease. This removed the legal need to supply healthcare workers with PPE. How, in late March 2020, could anybody NOT rate it as HCID?

Both Conservatives and Reform receive funding from Russian backed sources.

Both parties have anti net-zero, pro fossil fuel policies

And in whose interests are these policies? Only the producers of fossil fuels, including Russia.

Energy security, as the IEA notes, lies in reducing fossil fuels.

She's resigning to spend more time with her pension.

Members of Congress only get the pension if they've served 5 years.

MJT reaches that milestone the day she is retiring.
🚨🚨BREAKING: Marjorie Taylor Greene said today that she’s resigning from Congress in January.

Wow she’s so principled
Noting the congressional pension is based on service time, it kicks in at 5 years and her retirement date - Jan. 5, 2026 - will be the first business day after she passes five years since her first swearing in. bsky.app/profile/heli...
Any idea why she's quitting then? Her statement isn't very coherent (big surprise), although it would make more sense as an explanation of just not running for re-election.

We are now publishing a retraction that will not be seen by many as it is not a headline.

And this apology will do nothing to counter the anger and outrage we have alreafy caused.

So, #r4today reports on the Covid inquiry and the “too little, too late” Tory govt, then says they’ll be talking to *Lord* Gove about it. Ugh.
That just sums up so much that’s so very wrong with our politics and media.

Eh? Covid inquiry: Lockdown could have been avoided and other key findings

Get the security services to fully investigate them.

They will have been paid by the enemies of this country to make this happen.

We know who they are. We just need the proof.

Legal professionals have offered numerous alternatives to address the backlog.

Ministers are not listening.
