Unironically they should buy up the domains for about 60 defunct local newspapers in swing states. Hire two reporters to write almost exclusively about highschool sports and new restaurants opening with every 10th article about how the local GOP is screwing over people.

One of the worst things to happen to TV news in my lifetime is the fixation on how politicians should deal with a crisis from a PR perspective rather than the scandal itself.
This wasn't common years ago. They just discussed the substance of the news, not how politicians should spin things.
