after blackout in 2007 they said she was over. in 2008, katy perry, lady gaga, rihanna.. were the new rising stars. britney after a decade in the game needs a hit to stay relevant, and ‘womanizer’ delivers. then she released the hits ‘circus’, ‘if u seek amy’ & ‘radar’. iconic

Just saw somebody on Reddit complain that Bluesky doesn’t have a views counter, and - my brother in Christ, I beg you, please log off. Take a walk, see the starry sky, pet a cute dog, have some great sex, have a coconut ice cream, make some falafel. Just go.

a) voting for the less awful of the major party candidates is good

b) it’s very clear who that is

I’m not gonna yell at anyone about voting, it doesn’t work and just pisses people off, it’s your business what you do

but for myself, both of these things hold true
what’s an opinion that’s got you like this around other leftists

We are now scheduled to put Barb down at 2:30pm today

She's been showing all the classic signs of a cat who's ready to go

I just gave her oodles of rubs and told her how wonderful she is and she gave me the biggest purr

Oh dear, this is going to be A Day
THE GOOD NEWS: I got to introduce my spouse to LOOPER (2012) tonight and she fuckin loved it

THE BAD NEWS: I’m pretty sure my very-very-old cat, Barbara, isn’t going to live through the next 24 hours 💔

One thing that micro-transactions in video games have proven irrefutably is that men also want to spend a bunch of money on little outfits, and society had failed them in finding a way to express it.

A lot of complaints about Bluesky amount to people admitting that they have grown so accustomed to algorithms feeding them an endless train of slop that they are completely unable to manage without it

Will's Ferrell's thoughts quoted here echo some of my own. There are trans folks I've known on both sides of their transitions. Getting to live as who they've always been makes a difference, and I want people, particularly the people I like and love, to be at home with their own selves.
Will Ferrell has an enormous audience of straight dudes who need to hear this. Nothing but facts here about anti-trans bigotry:
