You can lie to yourself all you want, cos a bank approved your mortgage request and practically became your landlord, or cos you have a job and live paycheck to paycheck, while being one medical debt away from homelessness, as long as you're a working class person, you don't have shit together. 🙂
The concept of "having your shit together" or "your ducks in a row", is a social construct that makes absolutely no sense. There are no working class people who have their shit together in capitalist systems. To be working class is to be exploited, every damn day, by the capitalist ruling class.

i don't want web 1.0 or web 2.0 back. i want the joy of visiting websites without paywalls, AI features shoved in your face, cookie banners, and hideous load times. i'm aware there were analogs of these things back then too but in 2025 we're capable of reducing friction where we weren't back then.

FWIW, in all the years they've been doing this, I've only ever seen like one released person not light up with a huge smile to get a hug and be treated like a human by their "temporary grandmas" as the ladies call themselves.
