Infant children are not going out and buying screen devices for themselves, and parents are not screen-free or immune from distraction either.
I get it - everyone is addicted to their phone, but I think only addressing the problem as regards children is pointless.

Something I'd like to address. There's this idea that TQ+ folk are all 21 year-old art students... and all the 'normal' old school folk are LGB and entirely left behind and confused by 'pronouns'...

I posit that the last week in November is the *worst* week in the year:
* Everything is still getting darker and colder,
* Christmas/leave is still far enough away that you can't do no work,
* But you start to worry about gifts and planning etc.,
* Early Christmas songs etc. are awful to hear

“Charlie Kirk was a bad person but even bad people don’t deserve to be murdered” is all they have to say. It’s not hard.
I don’t need to be told not to celebrate violence or speak ill of the dead but all this hagiography of Kirk is just absurd. He was a vicious, bigoted troll who devoted his life to making things as shitty as possible for anyone who wasn’t like him. He made the discourse worse in every possible way.
