The only reason not to worry about our human rights being taken away is if you're not human.
That's right! We should destroy human rights so that Keir Starmer can win* the next general election!

*Make it even more likely he'll lose by mainstreaming the far right politics he pretends to oppose
Starmer urges Europe’s leaders to curb ECHR to halt rise of far right
Exclusive: PM calls for members of European convention on human rights to allow tougher action to protect borders

More than a QUARTER of police forces in England and Wales still haven’t implemented basic policies for investigating sexual offences.

It’s like they don’t care. It’s scandalous, but it’s borne out by the experiences of so many women – women like Nina Cresswell.

Sarah Everard report finds quarter of forces lack basic policies on sexual offences
The report, four years after the 33-year-old's murder, says urgent action is needed to prevent violent, sexual attacks against women.

All other considerations aside, just due to sheer ineptitude, the best thing Your Party could do for the left at this stage is to die.

part of the reason for the rise of reform is labour trying to appeal to their supporters by aping their arguments and policies. all labour votes reward this strategy, your labour vote says "yes, i love racism, more racism please"
don't give labour a single vote under any circumstances

The BBC was founded to “provide impartial news”. If it's going to be the UK's biggest media organisation, it has to do its job right.

Hold the BBC to account 👇

The existence of trans people is not an "ideology", BBC. It is a reality and one which Parliament has recognized.

(Entirely typical of the BBC that, confronted by a populist right attack, they will show willing by dumping on trans people. Weak with the strong, strong with the weak, as always.)

🚨 The EHRC has withdrawn advice to segregate Trans+ from website, and told businesses to seek legal advice 👇

The move comes amid approval for a draft code which largely advises the same, but campaign group the Good Law Project says businesses who continue to follow could face legal action 🧵

Hey look, Israel broke the cease-fire, twice, in two different ways, within 24 hours - again.
NEW: Israel informed the UN it will permit only 300 aid trucks into Gaza daily, not the 600 mandated by the ceasefire it just signed.

Over 52,000 women have signed the open letter to say not in our name.

Will you join them?

Kair Starmer simply cannot continue as Prime Minister. He is entirely unprepared for this political moment, and is handing the country to Reform on a platter.

No matter your politics, you would have to be a fool to support this inept man as PM.
Keir Starmer’s spokesperson asked for the PM's response to Nigel Farage’s plan to deport hundreds of thousands of people living and working completely legally in the UK, replies that he thinks it is “unworkable” and “unfunded”.

So his objection is that they’ve got their sums wrong

it coincides with a halving in the education budget for prisons and a commitment to use prison labour for arms manufacturing. literally what are we doing here
Britain's chemical castration plan for sex offenders seems like the most obvious attempt to avoid doing anything about sex offending, while giving the govt an excuse to release large numbers of offenders despite the fact people can and do offend while chemically castrated.

I believe this to my core. They're using trans people as a test case to dismantle individual rights in the US.
Trans rights are not the rights of a tiny minority, trans rights are everyone’s rights to self-determination, control of our bodies, and a society where opportunity and aesthetics are not restricted by sex assigned at birth

You should support and defend trans people because trans people are people

The Wall Street Journal is now walking back its earlier reporting that "transgender ideology" messages were found on the shooter's ammunition.

But it's too late. That story is all around the country and the world. Most who have read it will not see the update.

Thanks, WSJ.

The court is erasing Banksy's mural just like it's erasing our right to protest

It only took 48 hours for the court to scrub out a Banksy showing a judge striking down a protester with his gavel

Silencing a work of art about silencing protest? Maybe it was a little too close to home
