Terse statements with poor spelling/grammar. Lots of crying emojis.

That's a good description of the communications from two groups.

1. Your managers at work.
2. Bigots and reactionaries online.

Co-incidence? 🤔

Privilege is bad grammar
When I got my first real job, I used to get so nervous about writing emails to my boss. I would run spellcheck, triple-check the grammar, read over it again ...

Blimey. Looks like Matt Goodwin, who seems to think the Handmaid's Tale is an instruction manual, is in the pay of an Orban think tank, funded by Russian oil money.
Orbán’s pay cheques: Reform candidate fuelled by profits from Russian oil
The Reform candidate at this month’s byelection claims he wants to put Britain first, but is he still on the payroll of Viktor Orbán’s far-right propaganda unit?

Enough with the outrage theatre.
If Reform stands for ordinary working people, why did all their MPs vote against the Workers’ Rights Bill?

You can’t wedge immigration into that one. It’s just the record.

Age verification?

I used to answer the telephone by quoting my phone number back to the caller. Number verification, if you will.
Age verification
I remember not being able to use the house phone if next door were using there house phone because we were on a party line
Age verification?

There was little or no home internet and you went to a library or computer lab to go online

Darren here describing what in political science terms is known as “Horseshit Theory”, whereby if you don’t want their right wing horseshit, your only option is to vote for our right wing horseshit, in order to keep them out of power.
The battle for Britain in the years ahead is between a modern, diverse Britain led by Labour or a dark, divisive Britain under Reform.

All of us in the Labour Party must get behind the Prime Minister, rise to the challenge and deliver a richer, fairer and stronger future.

1. People struggle to reconcile Keir Starmer’s ruthless ambition, Machiavellian manoeuvres, breaking of promises, collaboration in genocide, bans on protest, aid cuts, benefit cuts and war on nature with his history as a human rights lawyer. But perhaps there is no contradiction.

Equating an iffy bar chart with full on right-wing popularism, because both are “a complete lie”; in support of the guy that promised us all of this.

You really couldn’t make these people up.

Right, but just to clarify, you did not appoint Peter Mandelson, because you were not Prime Minister.
NEW: PM’s Chief of Staff Morgan McSweeney resigns

“After careful reflection, I have decided to resign from the government. The decision to appoint Peter Mandelson was wrong. He has damaged our party, our country and trust in politics itself.”

I'm very unhappy about several things Starmer has done, not just re. Mandelson, but the last thing we need with the world as it is right now is an unstable government. If you have a Labour MP email them and ask them to #holdtheline

Hold the Line - Tell Your Labour MP to Stand Firm
