The old world is dying, and the new world struggles to be born: now is the time of monsters. A.G
You’re free to ignore the brief Corbyn reference. The post is about Starmer’s statement—maybe address that instead.

Reform is threatening Bangor University over a student society’s decision. The society isn’t Bangor University—but this is a neat preview of how a Reform government would work: public money for supporters only. Trump-style politics, UK edition.

Authoritarian reflex is already working just fine.👇

Spot on!
February 9, 2026 at 1:44 PM
Good question. But we can’t keep treating Starmer as the sole saviour — he’s anything but.
If that’s all we’ve got, then we’re already done for.

Again, seriously how are you drowning in this conclusion? Especially when I specifically said: "For the sake of the Labour Party and the country he needs to go."Is it because you think the only saviour is Starmer?
Anyway, we have something in common,we don't want Frogface nowhere near the power.
February 9, 2026 at 10:55 AM
Ok ignore a small point on Corbyn vote if that upset you.
February 9, 2026 at 10:43 AM
How did you come to this conclusion? I think Starmer is so unpopular across the board that keeping him only clears a path for " Frogface".
For the sake of the Labour Party, and the country,he needs to go.
February 9, 2026 at 10:34 AM
No — it’s the opposite. Starmer is so unpopular across the board that keeping him only clears a path for Farage.
For the sake of the Labour Party — and the country — he needs to go.
February 9, 2026 at 9:50 AM
Starmer needs to acknowledge he didn’t win a huge mandate — the Tories collapsed, so Labour strolled in.
Corbyn actually lost with more votes.

What did McSweeney do next? Advise Labour into the lowest poll ratings in its history.

So spare us the tears over McSweeney’s resignation.

Call it a blind spot. Call it being way too close to my own neck to stop defending the indefensible.
Still, it’s toe-curling to watch Trump’s minions back him no matter what.

Watching Nora Lee Notzon Trump ally defends what no decent person would even attempt.👇😔

Yes, McSweeney should go. But what does that say about Starmer clinging to his job? If he won’t take responsibility for his own appointments, why should he stay? Accountability starts at the top—and that’s where it’s missing.

Suing the IRS, the US Treasury and Trevor Noah.

Is she not? That's even worse! An old man gawping at a young girl serving an Australian beer...
February 6, 2026 at 10:49 AM
Ah yes, the political vision of Reform supporters: an old man gawping at an AI-generated young girl serving an Australian beer, earnestly arguing this is the cure for Britain.

Churchill would be proud.

Baron Foulkes: Why stripped Mandelson of his peerage?
Why indeed when Mone and Lebedev are happily sipping champagne in the very same “club.”
🤔 wouldn’t the obvious solution be to strip all of them of their peerages?
Too radical? Or just inconvenient for people who benefit from the rot?
February 4, 2026 at 9:31 AM
Mandelson is now under investigation.

But the real scandal isn’t his judgement — it’s Keir Starmer’s.

What does it say about his leadership that he elevated the “Prince of Darkness” to US ambassador? If this passed Starmer’s due diligence, it’s a warning about the standards he’s willing to accept.

Sure—but before you make your decision, at least listen to what the candidate actually has to say about local issues. Don’t let the constant bickering turn you off; that’s just the political game every party seems to play.
February 3, 2026 at 1:24 PM
I agree it is frustrating, but all I can say it seems that she's is well informed, and her own massage in her own words is very clear.

Julia Hartley-Brewer once again lobbing red meat at her brain-dead fan club.
Today’s hot take:
“Just give away your house!”
Says this while sneering at Billie Eilish—who’s already donated £11.5m to food equity and climate justice.
Eilish's view from her ivory tower is very clear.🤨

I’ve seen numerous posts from Hannah focused on local issues, which she clearly understands as someone who lives in the area (I can’t comment, as I don’t). However, most posts from her supporters focus on opposing Reform, with much less attention on the actual issues.

Matt Goodwin’s campaign: Britain First (checks notes… Israel First) and please vote for me so Starmer loses his job.

Hannah Spencer’s campaign: NHS, housing, transport, cost of living. Boring. Also known as reality.
