The No Kings March in Chicago is one of the largest gatherings I’ve seen here. Looking down from by the river, the crowd stretches for blocks down Michigan Ave and wraps around Wacker Dr. This video is from a few minutes ago and the end of the protest is nowhere in sight.

Media execs have fallen prey to a propaganda and harassment campaign that has completely divorced them from what people actually want right now.

Both their insular information environments (group chats, podcasts) and ambient noise (Twitter reactionaries) have put them in a very stupid bubble.
currently at record-high search interest for canceling disney plus. pulling kimmel is a bigger deal to the company's bottom line than any of the "woke" scandals of the past 5 years. i think news & entertainment corp execs need put more work into understanding their audience, & get off twitter

Not only repugnant, but wrong. Gutfield claims that this was an "a specific crime against her by someone who knew her."
The killer had a list of 45 elected officials, all Democrats.
absolutely repugnant, gutfeld completely dismisses the assassination of melissa hortman, calls it a "bull shit" example of political violence

The Trump administration is ordering the removal of information on slavery at multiple national parks in an effort to scrub them of “corrosive ideology.”

This isn't entirely right -- as people in the replies noted, Sen. Mike Lee didn't ignore the assassinations, he just told jokes about it online and ludicrously blamed the far left.

This man will not be fired for calling for the murder of American citizens, yet multiple journalists/reporters/teachers lost their job for accurately reporting things Charlie Kirk actually said and stood for.

But it’s the “violent left” that’s the problem

These are all people who wanted to kill their enemies before Charlie Kirk was shot, are more vocal about it now, and will keep lusting for it long after Charlie Kirk has been buried. Today’s biggest event could have been a dog farting and they would have reacted by wanting you dead.
Not the radical left!

Matthew Dowd — strategist of the ugly 2004 Bush-Cheney campaign that railed against gay rights and swift-boated Kerry — thought Charlie Kirk practiced a hateful politics. The “liberal” cable network fired him for saying that.

I keep typing words and then deleting them because none of them are sufficient to capture how utterly fucked up and unacceptable this is. And yet it won't move a single Republican to give a damn.
The president of the United States just declared war, actual military war, not a metaphorical one, on a major American city, and one governed by his political opponents.

In any other period, this would be impeachment-worthy.

Just look at these paragraphs from the AP story.

Hegseth called Brown unqualified solely because he's Black. Then they fired him... and replaced him with a white guy so indisputably unqualified that he requires a Presidential waiver.

This is what "merit" means to them.
