The core American right-wing reactionary cannot be satisfied because they already are as satisfied as they're ever going to be. All the coherent things that they claim to want, they already have. Everything beyond that is just base aesthetic aversion to stuff that they find vaguely annoying.
This is what I mean when I talk about why all of talk of a modus vivendi or a negotiated surrender is futile; the driving engine of right-wing politics now is grievance podcasting. What they want is to have access to modernity, and also to be frothing with fury and hatred towards it at all times.

My government both instantly marked me as unfit for work because you cant hold down a job if you have a migraine every 3 or 4 hours AND marked me 0 percent for if being disabled affects my life and formally reported i could do eveything after i submit a PIP application saying i couldnt do them.
